End Of March Style

2018 Corporate Style, Budget Shopping, End of March, Spring Fashion, Winter Wear, Work Items, Work Wear / Sunday, April 1st, 2018

As you saw in the previous post, I came back from Florida where it was super warm and beautiful, and then dealt with a foot of snow in New Jersey. Back to my sweaters and scarves! I am trying to really shake things up with my outfits lately and get more creative with them, so hopefully these one will get you in that similar mood!
I’ve been seeing a lot of shirts in the stores lately that are a sweater on top sewn in with a button up underneath, so I created my own! I paired this cropped turtle neck sweater with a black button up from Express. Its hard to fully see it in these pictures, but I think the combination turned out great! I wore it with my faux leather tights and black Forever 21 pumps to keep up with the overall professional look! To top it off and break up the color, I added a plain white scarf.

(Is It Summer Yet) TUESDAY
I paired a dark pink body suit with light pink pants from Forever 21 and put a beige cardigan over top. I am not sure about you, but I have such difficulty finding a bodysuit that actually fits me! I think that if you are over 5’4 height, the body suit starts to fit funny and look very stretched out. I recently discovered that you can actually buy a longer sized body suit for made for taller women! I haven’t bought one yet, but stay tuned!

Pencil skirts provide such an effortless corporate look. I paired this navy blue skirt with a floral top. Each item on their own dont scream amazing, but when put together, they are so cute! Thats why I always say keep an open mind about the items you see when you are shopping because often times when put into an outfit, it may surprise you!

I was very happy about how this outfit turned out! The skirt from Old Navy is from a couple years ago and is high waisted so it worked very well with the peasant style top from Express that is a bit cropped. I paired wore it with brown and white flats that I got from Francesca’s and a brown crossbody bag.

I loved this outfit because even though I was wearing a skirt, I was so warm in my thick turtle neck from Express. Yellow is one of those colors that can be tough to match. With this mustard yellow, my go to’s are blue, white, brown and green. As you can see, I seemed to hit every color in this look (minus the white). To keep warm but not clash with the colors, I am wearing nude tights (which make my legs look flawless in person also!)

This is one of my favorite shirts that I got from Forever 21 a couple months ago. I feel like it matches with everything, and it isn’t so cropped that I do not HAVE to wear high waisted pants with it. Because it is a tighter shirt, I paired it with baggy brown tie up pants, and the combo was so cute. To add even more detail, I threw on a lacy cardigan from Charming Charlies and my pink beaded flats from Express. Who doesn’t love Tacos? I love graphic T’s and sweaters that add something to a plain look. I paired this yellow sweater from Forever 21 with these white washed boyfriend jeans also from Forever 21. It was the perfect casual Sunday outfit, warm and relaxing but also adorable.
